Attack of revenge on Sony PSN Network
Once again, the Japanese electronics giant, Sony has reported a fresh batch of hack attacks on several of its websites.
This time, the personal data of over 2,000 customers was stolen from a Sony Ericsson website in Canada and 8,500 users’ data were exposed on Sony Music Entertainment website in Greece. Bit by bit, every connection to the company seems to be infiltrated.
The Japanese electronics giant Sony has reported fresh hacking attacks on a number of its websites. Emails, passwords and phone numbers were stolen, but luckily, no credit card details were exposed this incident.
According to Sony, both the websites were externally hosted by third parties and were not connected to its main network. All four websites have been temporarily shut down. Sony’s music entertainment website in Indonesia and Sony’s website in Thailand were also hacked. Fortunately, no data was stolen there.
Still, one can’t help but wonder why Sony continues to suffer face these continuous hacker attacks from all over the world. Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East have all been victims of cybercrimes related to Sony.
Is somebody holding a grudge?
Thanks & Regards
